Leora Alcheck

Leora was born and raised in the Bay Area. Her interest in sustainable practices for community organizing and mobilization led her to Reading Partners. She previously was living in Montreal, where she worked as a popular education and mobilization coordinator at the Quebec Public Interest Research Group. She also brings seven years of prior experience in project-based community organizing and workshop facilitation. Her favorite childhood book was Something from Nothing by Phoebe Gilman.
