robin emerson

Robin Emerson

Robin Emerson serves as the interim executive director of Reading Partners Tulsa. Originally from Kentucky, Robin graduated with her degree in special education with an emphasis on learning disabilities from Northeastern State University in Oklahoma. She earned her M.Ed. from the University of Oklahoma in educational administration and curriculum supervision. She completed the Relay Graduate School of Education Leadership program with distinction. Robin has also taught elementary, middle, and high school. She has served as an instructional coach, assistant principal at Tisdale, principal at Carnegie Elementary School, middle school principal in Broken Arrow, and a director of special education in a Tulsa Public School. Robin currently serves as a national professional development specialist with Catapult Learning with a focus on special education services, building instructional coherence, diversity, equity and inclusion and literacy. Robin lives in Oklahoma where she and her husband have raised their family of five children and seven grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys the company of family, friends, and her yorkie, Canyon, and lake and beach time.
