Our mission is to help children become lifelong readers by empowering communities to provide individualized instruction with measurable results.

Our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

We believe in the power of educational equity to interrupt systemic racism, poverty, and social inequality. To support our students’ development of lifelong literacy skills, Reading Partners is committed to building a culturally competent and representative team to advance social justice through our service in schools and communities.

In the wake of multi-racial, multi-generational, worldwide peaceful protests calling for racial equality and justice, Reading Partners emphatically affirms that Black lives matter. During a consequential time in history, our organization intends to do everything in our power to ensure that this broader moment in time becomes a catalyst that propels our country from a cycle of senseless tragedy onto a path of meaningful social transformation. The students and communities we serve deserve no less.

We fundamentally believe that the ability to read transforms lives and changes outcomes for children and communities. We want every child to experience the joy and power of becoming a lifelong reader, and we are focused on this mission.
