by Barnes & Noble pairs up with Reading Partners for holiday fundraising events

6002618684_b76222a052_nReading Partners Colorado and Reading Partners Charleston are partnering with Barnes & Noble this week for a special holiday fundraising event.

Both regions have worked with Barnes & Noble to set up fun and interactive in-store events, where a portion of the proceeds will go directly to Reading Partners.

Colorado’s event will take place tonight, December 9, 2013, from 4-8pm at the Barnes and Noble located at 960 S. Colorado Blvd in Glendale, Colorado. The event will include readings from two Colorado authors: Linda Petrie Bunch, author of the Hannah Mountain Dogs series, and Frederick L. Wolfe, author of High Summits: 370 Famous Peak First Ascents.

But, the action doesn’t stop there! There is still time to contribute by ordering online, where 20% of the proceeds will go towards providing one-on-one tutoring to children to help improve their reading skills, with Reading Partners. This online event will only last until December 13, 2013
