7th Annual Reading Partners New York Benefit

April 2, 2020

Due to the rapidly evolving COVID-19 situation, May 13th Reading Partners New York 7th Annual Benefit has been cancelled. This is our largest fundraiser of the year, and cancelling it has significant implications on our budget. We are deeply disappointed by the necessity of making this decision. Our students and our families need our innovation and support now more than ever, and if you are able to donate during this challenging time, we would be deeply grateful for the support. Follow this link to make a donation.

Join Reading Partners New York at our 7th Annual Benefit on Wednesday, May 13 at the Ascent Lounge.

This event celebrates nine years of Reading Partners engaging communities, empowering students, and growing our work in New York City. This year, we are thrilled to honor James Hobson, Reading Partners New York board chair and CEO of Attune Insurance. James Hobson has been board chair of Reading Partners New York for six years, and during that time Reading Partners New York has continually made a significant impact on our students’ reading achievement and growth. Since James became board chair in 2014 over 80% of all Reading Partners’ students have met or exceeded their primary end-of-year literacy growth goal.

Over drinks and hors d’oeuvres, 350 guests will gather to engage with other professionals who value education and are passionate about strengthening our communities in New York City. Our 7th Annual Benefit will engage professionals representing a wide cross-section of industries and offers a variety of sponsorship levels for individual and corporate involvement.

If you have questions about the event, please contact Danica Stewart, development manager, at (646) 402-6280 or eventsNY@readingpartners.org.
