Reading Partners is proud to be a part of Maryland’s Day to Serve, an annual program that encourages volunteerism and promotes service within our community. You can make a difference in the Baltimore community by volunteering with us during our Back-to-School Day to Serve event on September 30, 2016.
With the rising need to provide results-driven solutions for Baltimore’s emerging readers, Reading Partners helps students achieve proficiency by providing them the tools to master key reading skills through data-informed, curriculum-driven, one-on-one tutoring. For Day to Serve, Reading Partners will host a city-wide Back-to-School literacy tutoring day on Friday, September 30 to kick off the school year. We aim to engage 180 community volunteers across our 19 partner Baltimore City Public Schools in a single day of service.
