Colorado Gives Day 2021

November 8, 2021

This Colorado Gives Day, occurring Tuesday, December 7, we invite you to give where you live and support Reading Partners Colorado. Want to make sure you don’t miss it? Donations can be scheduled now for Colorado Gives Day. As an added bonus, if you schedule your donation ahead of time we will take you off the list for all emails we send out for Colorado Gives Day. Supporting a good cause and a cleaner inbox, that sounds like a win-win!

Reading Partners empowers elementary students experiencing economic disadvantage to reach their full potential by ensuring they have the foundational reading skills necessary for academic, professional, and life success. To support this effort, we recruit and train community volunteers to provide individualized instruction to struggling readers in under-resourced elementary schools.

This year, in order to adapt to the ever-changing educational landscape, Reading Partners is offering two versions of our program based on school needs. Reading Partners Traditional occurs at schools in a dedicated tutoring space that is transformed into a dynamic reading center. Reading Partners Connects integrates our traditional curriculum into an online platform to allow for virtual tutoring.

For the 2021-22 school year, Reading Partners Colorado is serving at 12 Title I schools that are a part of four districts in Colorado: Aurora Public Schools, Denver Public Schools, Jeffco (Jefferson County) Public Schools, and Westminster Public Schools.
