Get involved with Reading Partners Sacramento: Summer 2015

June 9, 2015

Reading Partners empowers community volunteers to serve as reading tutors for students who have fallen behind grade level. Through one-on-one, individualized instruction, our volunteer reading partners not only make a positive impact on students’ academic performance, but also help create tangible change in our community. This past year, our volunteers in Sacramento served 483 students in nine under-resourced elementary schools throughout the city.

If you’d like to learn more about our volunteer opportunities, come join us at one of our upcoming informational sessions! This is a great opportunity to meet our staff, learn about our program, and ask questions about volunteering as a reading partner.

Information sessions:

Friday, July 10, 2015, 8:30-9:30 am
Colonial Heights Library
4799 Stockton Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95820
