Introducing the Page Turner Society

November 21, 2017

We are excited to announce the launch of our inaugural Page Turner Society, this fall. This group of distinguished donors have committed to making a significant impact on the lives of students living in poverty in South Carolina. Their goal is to ensure students in need of additional support have access to high quality literacy tutoring through the Reading Partners program—leveling the playing field for all students throughout the community.

Page Turner Society members leverage funding provided by our education partners and AmeriCorps, by supporting the private philanthropy portion of Reading Partners services—$1,100 per student. The member’s donation ensures that one student has access to all aspects of the Reading Partners program for a full year including matching/training the student’s volunteer, curriculum and program supplies, assessment measurement tools, Read Aloud Library, Take Reading Home, and Summer Reading Program.

We are so appreciative of community supporters and tutors who have already chosen to join our new giving society and help turn the page for so many deserving students!

The inaugural group of Page Turner Society members will be featured in our January 2018 newsletter.
