Reading Partners Celebration

May 28, 2019

We’re excited to invite you to a special Reading Partners Celebration on June 11 at Gathering Place! We’ve had an outstanding year and reached several milestones, including engaging more than 2,000 community volunteers and serving more than 1,700 Tulsa students.

Join us for this free, family-friendly event, featuring live entertainment by Hot Toast Music Co., special storytime readers from Tulsa Educare and Reach Out and Read, and free ice cream.

FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE

Reading Partners is excited to partner with Tulsa Public Schools to provide a free shuttle service to and from the event for students and their families. Please see the following information about pick up and departure times for shuttles.

PICKUP LOCATIONS

The following rules must be abided by all passengers.

  • Passengers being transported must be 3-4 (Pre-K and Kindergarten) years of age or older.
  • All children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
  • No Smoking/Alcohol on any bus at any time.  
  • Oklahoma State Law prohibits transporting any item on a school bus that will obstruct aisles, create a safety hazard or impede emergency exit from a school bus.
