Run for Reading Partners

February 2, 2017

Join us for the 3rd annual Run for Reading Partners

Run for Reading Partners is the signature spring event of Reading Partners Baltimore. On Saturday, April 8, 2017, our community of reading advocates will come together and run on our  Run for Reading Partners team in the 2017 Under Armour Sole of the City 10k presented by Kelly. Motivated by the work of our students, we will build on our successes of the past two years where more than 60 runners joined the Run for Reading Partners team, enabling us to raise over $26,000 for our programs.

This year, we’re aiming to go bigger than ever before! We’ve set an ambitious goal of raising $50,000 to support students’ literacy education. YOU can help us blow this out of the water and further unlock opportunities for our students.

Here’s how you can get involved:

Run: Click here to complete our easy, all-in-one registration. As a team member, you have access to discounted race registration. You can register as a runner with a race premium, or without, and a fundraising page will automatically be created for you. All runners will be asked to raise a minimum of $100*. The more you raise, the more team perks you’ll receive.

*Note: The race registration fee is separate from the fundraising minimum.

Volunteer: If you are not interested in running on April 8, but still want to join in on the fun then join our volunteer team. Volunteers will assist with a variety of race-day needs and everyone will earn a t-shirt as well as eternal gratitude from nearly 4,000 runners. Contact our development manager, Cassidy Francik, at cassidy.francik@readingpartners.org for more information and to reserve your spot.

Join as a fundraiser or donate to a school team: Are you out-of-state or just can’t make it that day? You can still join us as a virtual fundraiser and you’ll receive all the same great perks as our runners. Or, you can cheer us on by giving to one of our 19 school’s teams, who are each working reach their goal of raising $5,000. Click here to sign up or give.

Become a sponsor: We have tiered sponsorship levels that make it easy for your company or corporation to become a sponsor for Run for Reading Partners. Perks of becoming a sponsor include having your company’s logo displayed on our team t-shirts, runner spots for your employees, company name on promotional materials, and brand promotion on Reading Partners Baltimore’s social media platforms. Contact our development manager, Cassidy Francik, at cassidy.francik@readingpartners.org for more information.

We hope to see you out there and can’t wait to flood the streets, again, with our awesome Run for Reading Partners gear!
