Alex Walters

Alex joined Reading Partners in 2020 as a volunteer coordinator and is excited to bring his five years of experience in engineering and project management to the team as a development associate. Alex graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering before attending Wichita State University for his master of business administration. After working in the aircraft industry for five years, Alex and his wife fulfilled their lifelong dream of moving to Colorful Colorado and he decided it was the right time to change life paths. As a lifelong reading lover and an advocate for education, Reading Partners was a perfect fit for Alex as he looked to branch out into the nonprofit sector. Alex loves hiking, college football, cooking new dishes, and seeing new places with his wife and husky.
