Aurora Milas

A native of Los Angeles, California, Aurora first moved to Washington, DC to attend Howard University where she studied business. After graduating with a Bachelor of Business Adminstration in Management, she realized working with very young children was truly where her passion lies, so she moved back to Los Angeles and began a 20-year career as an early childhood and elementary school teacher. After moving back to Washington, DC, Aurora returned to the early childhood level, where in less than two years, she was promoted to Director of Development for an early childhood education center. She is thrilled to join Reading Partners and continue supporting children and education through the organization’s fundraising efforts.
