Daniel Simmons
Daniel has eight years of teaching experience in both public and private institutions, within the United States and abroad. He has taught at the elementary, middle school, high school, and undergraduate level, giving him a unique perspective on the literacy development and skill-base acquisition needed for students to become excellent readers. Prior to becoming a program associate, Daniel served as an Americorps site coordinator with Reading Partners in Texas. He received his master’s of theology and master’s of divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary in Princeton, New Jersey, and his bachelor’s degree from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois. Daniel is excited to continue on with Reading Partners as the program expands to reach more students throughout Texas.
