Jordan Paley

Jordan, originally from Albany, NY, moved to Baltimore after graduating from the State University of New York at New Paltz where she received her degree in sociology/criminology. Upon graduating, Jordan served two years of AmeriCorps—one with Notre Dame Mission Volunteers and the second with Public Allies of Maryland. During her two years of AmeriCorps, Jordan was placed in two nonprofit organizations that worked with Baltimore City youth. It was these two years of service that fueled Jordan’s passion to give back to the community that she lives in. Prior to joining Reading Partners in August 2016, Jordan worked for three years as a Program Manager at Best Buddies, an international nonprofit working towards inclusion for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Jordan’s recent interest in development and love for working with Baltimore City youth is what led her to Reading Partners. She is looking forward to continuing her work in Baltimore City and is excited to be a part of the Reading Partners team!
