Sabrina Sifuentes

Sabrina Sifuentes first served as an AmeriCorps member for Reading Partners in both their North Texas and District of Columbia regions. During this time, she was inspired by her school communities and discovered her passion for literacy. Sabrina decided to join Teach for America to work as an elementary school teacher for Dallas Independent Schools while earning a master of education specializing in early literacy from Southern Methodist University. She then returned to the nonprofit sector to serve at Georgetown University as the Program Director of DC Reads, where she recruited, trained, and supported a team of undergraduate students to tutor elementary students at eight schools across DC’s Ward 7. Sabrina is thrilled to come home to Reading Partners North Texas and grow the next generation of readers.
