Sarah Prokopik

Sarah Prokopik attended the University of Maryland where she received her bachelor’s in psychology and family science, with a minor in special education. During her college years, Sarah devoted her time to working with various educational organizations. While working as a summer teacher with the Higher Achievement Program in Baltimore, Sarah developed a passion for teaching and mentoring students. After graduating, Sarah joined Teach for America, where she taught first grade in Baltimore City and began working toward her master’s in elementary education at Johns Hopkins University. Prior to joining Reading Partners Washington, DC, Sarah was a program manager for Reading Partners in Baltimore, where she managed the region’s first Reading Partners school.
