Yanely Espinal

Born and raised in Brooklyn, Yanely is a proud product of NYC public schools. In her second year as a program manager, she is excited to have the opportunity to support schools in her hometown for the 2016-17 school year. Yanely graduated from Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School before going on to receive her bachelor’s degree at Brown University. She joined Teach For America in 2011, teaching third and fourth grade in Canarsie, Brooklyn. She received her master’s degree from Relay Graduate School of Education in 2013. In her spare time she spends time with her family, sews, paints, listens to podcasts, and helps people learn about basic money management.
